About The Position

The Volunteer Manager is responsible for recruiting, coordinating, and supporting volunteers during ICCO Summer Camp. This role includes finding suitable opportunities for volunteers, supervising and engaging them effectively, and ensuring a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. The manager communicates clearly and regularly with volunteers, helps them understand their roles and responsibilities, and periodically evaluates their performance. They build trust and rapport with volunteers and staff, show appreciation for contributions, solicit feedback, and address any concerns to ensure volunteers are motivated, supported, and able to contribute to a smooth and enriching camp experience for all participants.

Requirements

• Experience in volunteer management or coordination
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to build trust and rapport
• Skills in conflict resolution and problem-solving
• Commitment to creating an inclusive environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a camp setting
• First Aid/CPR certification
