JVS assists employers in their search for well qualified job applicants and their initiatives to upgrade the skills of their incumbent workforce. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Volunteer Engagement, the Volunteer & Intern Engagement Manager is responsible for managing volunteer and intern recruitment and placement efforts to provide a full range of support for the agency’s programmatic and operational needs. This role leads all outreach efforts, including building and maintaining key partnerships, to connect potential volunteers and interns to a variety of support roles at all JVS locations. As a part of this work, the Manager plans and implements strategic and timely engagement efforts and events to support and retain an inclusive volunteer community. As a member of the Advancement Team, the Manager supports the cultivation and stewardship of all volunteers. In particular, the Manager works collaboratively with the Director of Volunteer Engagement to help facilitate volunteer participation of JVS Board Members, donors, prospective donors, community leaders, and corporate professionals. Additionally, the Manager will collaborate with the Marketing Team to engage volunteers through social media, quarterly newsletters, and other volunteer communications.
