About The Position

Purpose Brands 414 (PB414) is a faith-based nonprofit organization that creates and stewards redemptive initiatives where people experience dignity, hope, and the love of Jesus. Its initiatives currently include Beautiful Lives Thrift Boutique, Bold Lives Men's Thrift, and Thrift Out. The organization creates ministry opportunities that meet tangible needs, restore communities, develop leaders, and steward resources for lasting Kingdom impact. Its vision is to see every person flourish in relationship with Jesus. This reciprocal internship provides hands-on experience for the student while contributing to PB414's mission. The role focuses on leading and creating excellent experiences for volunteer groups. It may suit students interested in nonprofit leadership, communications, business, education, social work, ministry, or event management. The position is primarily based at Thrift Out in Springdale and Purpose Hub in Johnson, with a flexible schedule of 5–15 hours per week. The ideal start date is mid-January, and the intern reports to the Volunteer Program Operations Lead. Initial training and shadowing are provided, with increasing independence over time. Interns can gain insight into nonprofit operations and volunteer management; hands-on group facilitation and leadership experience; opportunities to own projects in a supportive, mentoring environment; practice in critical thinking, problem-solving, and professional communication across departments and teams; and exposure to an EOS-run workplace. Learning goals can be tailored to the intern's interests and career path. Interns receive all benefits of PB414 volunteers.
