About The Position

Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta (JF&CS) is seeking an organized, relationship-driven Volunteer Engagement Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the agency’s volunteer engagement program. This role helps recruit, welcome, support, and retain volunteers while ensuring volunteer experiences are clear, meaningful, and aligned with agency needs. The Volunteer Engagement Coordinator plays an important role in helping community members connect to JF&CS through service, events, programs, and ongoing engagement. The north star for this role is simple: make it easy and rewarding for volunteers to contribute their time, talents, and energy in ways that strengthen JF&CS programs and deepen community impact. This is a highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys both people-centered work and behind-the-scenes coordination. Some days you’ll be communicating with volunteers, supporting an event, or helping a program team fill a need. Other days you’ll be updating records, preparing materials, tracking engagement data, or improving systems that help volunteers and staff succeed.
