About The Position

Beloit Health System is seeking an engaging and results-oriented Volunteer Coordinator to join our team! This position is a 1st shift, 40 hours per week role, and is benefits eligible. The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing our volunteer workforce, as well as managing two retail spaces at Beloit Memorial Hospital.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
At least 5 years of experience with volunteers is preferred
Ability to multi-task and work with different personality types
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
nonprofit sector experience a plus

Responsibilities

Oversees new volunteer interviews and coordinates follow-up procedures such as assigning uniforms, taking pictures for name badges, training, orientation and scheduling
Keeps accurate and up-to-date files for all volunteers
Handles the day-to-day needs of the current volunteers
Assists in organization and planning of volunteer special events
Organizes and prepares for volunteer Board meetings
Facilitates various volunteer fundraisers throughout the year
Completes special projects assigned on time and with a high level of quality
Supports other marketing and community relations events
Manages two retail spaces at Beloit Memorial Hospital
