Part - Time Volunteer Coordinator Position with Valley VNA Senior Care 10-20 hours / week. $19-$20 / hour About Us: We inspire Purposeful, Pleasurable, and Peaceful living. As a part time Volunteer Coordinator you will have direct impact on meeting the volunteer needs within our community.

Requirements

Must pass background check.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a volunteer or leading volunteer activities preferred.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee the recruitment, placement, and orientation of volunteers and integrate their activities to meet the needs of residents, clients and staff.
Ensure the application process is efficient and user-friendly.
Interview potential volunteers and ensure their roles are best suited to the needs of VVNA.
Schedule, organize and lead volunteer orientations.
Work with HR to ensure all paperwork needed is complete, including background checks.
Onboard new volunteers, ensuring they are well-informed and comfortable in their roles.
Maintain regular communication with the Executive Director, Life Enrichment Coordinator, and staff regarding volunteer arrivals, duties and any relevant updates.
Develop volunteer schedules and communicate with appropriate staff.
Lead Cycling without Age rickshaw program.
Training of pilots.
Track agreed upon statistics, maintain volunteer records.
Provide reports as needed.
Minimum of yearly evaluation of volunteers' performance and match for VVNA needs.
Engage in volunteer recruitment initiatives within the community as needed.
