About The Position

We exist to serve those affected by incarceration by being Ambassadors of Life Change through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This role is for a Volunteer Coordinator who will be the point of contact for individuals and groups wishing to volunteer, schedule and plan volunteer activities, supervise volunteer groups, and assist at store locations. The coordinator will also handle community service volunteers, maintain paperwork, recruit volunteers, and coordinate communication between Jubilee and volunteers. Additionally, this role will assist with special fundraising projects, donor cultivation, and church relationships.

Requirements

Be able and willing to share the Gospel and participate in the ministry activities of Jubilee Ministries
Subscribe to Jubilee Ministries Mission Statement, Core Values, Statement of Faith, Position Statements, and Christian Code of Conduct at hire and continuously while employed.
Adhere to Jubilee Ministries Employee Handbook.
Participate in staff devotions including prayer and scripture reading.

Responsibilities

Be the point of contact for individuals and groups that wish to volunteer at Jubilee.
Schedule and plan for individual and group volunteers in coordination with various departments of Jubilee.
Supervise volunteer groups.
Assist as needed at store locations beyond Lebanon, supporting volunteer groups.
Be the point of contact for individuals who wish to complete community service at Jubilee.
Maintain required paperwork on individual volunteers, group volunteers, and community service volunteers.
Coordinate with development staff to help orient volunteers to the mission and purpose of Jubilee.
Recruit volunteers according to needs and projects. This task involves communication/visitation to churches, outreach to schools and businesses, and engaging the community at large with volunteer needs.
Coordinate communication between Jubilee and volunteers.
Assist with special fundraising projects, donor cultivation, and establishing and maintaining church relationships.
