Volunteer Connections Intern
About The Position
The Helpline Center is seeking a motivated and community-minded Volunteer Connections Intern to support its Volunteer Connections program, which connects individuals, groups, and organizations with meaningful volunteer opportunities throughout the community. The internship offers hands-on experience in volunteer engagement, nonprofit operations, community outreach, and program coordination. The intern will contribute to marketing and promotional efforts, support community volunteer events, assist with data collection, and help with other program needs. The internship is available for Fall 2027 and is unpaid.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human services, nonprofit management, communications, or a related field.
- Strong oral and written English language skills.
- Working knowledge of computers and software programs.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to marketing and promotional efforts for the Volunteer Connections program.
- Support community volunteer events.
- Assist with data collection.
- Assist with other program needs.
