About The Position
Grand Canyon University's Athletic Department is seeking a Volunteer Assistant Coach for Women's Soccer. This role involves assisting the coaching staff in various aspects of the program, with a focus on developing student-athletes in integrity and personal growth. The position is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the student-athlete experience and advance the mission of GCU Athletics.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree
- Playing experience amateur, collegiate, professional level
Responsibilities
- Assist coaching staff in all areas
- On field/court coaching and demonstration for team and/or individual practices
- Coaching on court during home and away tournaments/matches
- Preparation of team matches including travel
- Assist with administrative duties, including recruiting as allowed within NCAA rules
- Video Analysis
