As an integrated health organization, Acenda values the use of evidence-based practice or EBP's. This position functions within the agency's policies and procedures, operates according to the program operations manual, and meets communication, supervision, and program quality requirements. The role involves communicating programmatic or job-related concerns and suggestions for improvement to the supervisor, as well as any performance concerns or training needs. The individual will conduct themselves in a professional manner that positively reflects the agency culture, demonstrating competent written and verbal communication with referral sources and external customers. They will be attentive and responsive to customer needs in a helpful, supportive, and timely manner, and work collaboratively with coworkers and agency staff to effectively communicate and problem-solve. The role ensures adherence to program obligations (contractual, licensing, Medicaid, etc.), follows program policies and procedures, and encourages the same in others. The individual will educate themselves on issues impacting the program population and operate conscientiously in accordance with the program budget. They will ensure the quality and accuracy of written and verbal communications, submit documentation within program requirements, and attend agency and program meetings and training within established time frames, playing an active role in enhancing agency and program operations. The position requires providing culturally competent service delivery, upholding ethical standards in accordance with the Social Work Code of Ethics, and providing appropriate intervention strategies, adjusting services accordingly. Other related duties may be assigned.
