About The Position

We're looking for energetic, reliable, and personable Volleyball Referees to join our Atlanta team and help create an exceptional experience for our players each week. Volleyball Referees are an essential part of the JAM player experience. We are currently seeking responsible, dependable, and knowledgeable officials to referee our adult volleyball leagues throughout the Atlanta area.

Nice To Haves

Previous volleyball officiating experience is preferred but not required
Playing, coaching, or officiating experience is an asset

Responsibilities

Engage with players each shift to ensure they have a fun and positive experience
Arrive at league venues prior to game time
Set up and take down volleyball equipment as required
Enforce league rules and maintain fair play
Explain rules and game expectations when necessary
Manage game flow and keep matches running on schedule
Resolve rule disputes and apply penalties when appropriate
Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants
Submit a brief shift report following each shift
Represent JAM Sports professionally while creating a fun and social atmosphere
Must have strong knowledge of volleyball rules and gameplay across recreational, intermediate, and competitive divisions
