About The Position
This is a supplemental position for a Girls' Volleyball Head Coach at Fort Lauderdale High School. The role involves coaching the volleyball team and imparting knowledge of the sport to participants. Florida State Statute mandates that all high school coaches hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate, or obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
Requirements
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program.
- Must hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate or obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
- Knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart this knowledge.
- Computer skills as required for the position.
