About The Position

Catherine Cook School seeks a passionate and engaging Volleyball Coach. This position plays a key role in fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe team environment where students can grow both athletically and personally. The ideal candidate is confident leading groups of student-athletics (Grades 5-8), experienced in coaching youth sports, and able to design engaging practices, develop game strategies, and model outstanding sportsmanship while supporting the mission and values of Catherine Cook School.

Requirements

Confident leading groups of student-athletes (Grades 5-8).
Experienced in coaching youth sports.
Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to working with student-athletes.
Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, patience, and consistency while supporting students, their families, and the athletic program.
Prioritize student safety and well-being.
Communicate effectively and collaborate with other coaches, supervisors, parents, referees, and school staff.
Adapt well to changing schedules, needs, and circumstances.
Employ Google and Outlook Applications for individual and team collaboration and communication.

Supporting event organization by preparing spaces, setting up activities, and managing student attendance procedures.
Modeling and demonstrating athletic skills, techniques, and positive sportsmanship as appropriate.
