About The Position
The City of Moorhead is seeking passionate individuals to help kids learn more about volleyball. We are hiring for two positions: Youth Volleyball Coordinator and Youth Volleyball Instructor. Both roles involve teaching the game of volleyball to young participants, with the Coordinator also responsible for equipment, setup, practice plans, and general supervision. These are seasonal positions running from September to October, with specific hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Requirements
- Age 18 or older (for Coordinator)
- Age 16 or older (for Instructor)
- Strong knowledge of the game of volleyball
- Ability to work well with parents and participants
- Strong desire to work with young boys and girls
Responsibilities
- Equipment control
- Set up and tear down
- Creating practice plans
- General supervision of the youth volleyball program
- Teaching the basic skills, fundamentals and rules of volleyball
