About The Position

The assistant coach is responsible for the oversight of day-to-day functions of the team as directed by the head coach. Must abide by all NCAA and University rules and regulations. Requirements

  • Four-year college degree
  • Experience coaching at the Division I level
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate and function effectively within a team setting

Responsibilities

  • Assist head coach with team practices and competitions.
  • Assist with the planning, organizing, and implementing team practice.
  • Assist with recruitment at home and on the road.
  • Assist with team needs assigned by the head coach or other staff members.
  • Assist with communication with Champion Performance team.
  • Manage and organize equipment along with managers.
  • Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.
  • Strictly adheres to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary manner.
