About The Position
This position is for a Volleyball Assistant Coach at Ray Reynolds Middle School within the Pasco School District. The role involves supporting the head coach and contributing to the athletic program. New hires are conditional upon passing a fingerprint screening.
Requirements
- Type 2 license or willingness to obtain.
- Must meet WIAA coaching requirements.
- High School Diploma, required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Previous coaching experience at high school or collegiate level.
Responsibilities
- Follow all WIAA and/or district rules, policies and guidelines.
- Mentor coaches within program.
- Direct all phases of athletic program.
- Coordinate out of season camp and/or clinics as needed or required.
- Attend District training regarding concussion management.
- Attend other district and/or WIAA trainings required to maintain coaching eligibility.
