About The Position
PASCO SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1 is seeking a Girls Volleyball Assistant Coach for Ochoa Middle School. This position is conditional upon passing a fingerprint screening and requires adherence to all WIAA and district rules, policies, and guidelines. The coach will mentor within the program, direct all phases of the athletic program, coordinate out-of-season camps/clinics, and attend required district and WIAA trainings, including concussion management.
Requirements
- Type 2 license or willingness to obtain.
- Must meet WIAA coaching requirements.
- Follow all WIAA and/or district rules, policies and guidelines.
- High School Diploma, required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Previous coaching experience at high school or collegiate level.
Responsibilities
- Mentor coaches within program.
- Direct all phases of athletic program.
- Coordinate out of season camp and/or clinics as needed or required.
- Attend District training regarding concussion management.
- Attend other district and/or WIAA trainings required to maintain coaching eligibility.
