Voice Teacher
About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice instructor to teach part-time at Riverdale Music Academy, in Riverdale, New Jersey. We are looking for instructors who will teach IN PERSON. Teachers must be available for a minimum of two 4-hour teaching blocks on a weekly basis. The available teaching blocks are Monday through Friday from 3:15pm-7:45pm. The standard lesson runtime is 45 minutes. Teaching more than one instrument, with voice being the primary focus, is a bonus! Both students and school staff appreciate consistency, and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.
Requirements
- Strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- Demonstrated love of teaching.
- Experience working with young musicians.
- Robust appreciation for punctuality.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a routine background check.
- Available for teaching blocks Monday through Friday from 3:15pm-7:45pm.
