Voice Teacher
About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice instructor to teach part-time at The Music Shop, in Boonton, New Jersey. Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. The Music Shop has been providing expert musical services to professional musicians, music students of all ages, and school districts in New York – New Jersey metropolitan area for over 45 years. We are authorized dealers for every brand of instrument and offer sheet music, accessories, private lessons, ensembles, and instrument rentals for school music programs.
Requirements
- Strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- Demonstrated love of teaching.
- Experience working with young musicians.
- Robust appreciation for punctuality.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a routine background check.
Responsibilities
