Voice Teacher - Fort Myers, FL
About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional voice instructor to teach part-time at Fort Myers School of Music, in Florida. This is an in-person teaching position. Teachers can set their availability within the school's open hours, with preference given to candidates available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-8pm. Successful candidates will possess a strong music background (degree in music performance, music education, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience), a passion for teaching, experience with young musicians, punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check. Instructor pay ranges from $25-30 per hour, commensurate with experience. Health benefit options and a 401(K) program with employer matching are available for all part- and full-time employees after 30 days of employment.
Requirements
- Strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, music education, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- Demonstrated love of teaching.
- Experience working with young musicians.
- Robust appreciation for punctuality.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a routine background check.
