About The Position

The Voice Pick Builder pulls orders using a voice-pick headset and accurately builds them for loading onto delivery trucks. The role is responsible for meeting a 99.8% order-building accuracy target and productivity requirements. Orders are built according to assigned loads, with products stacked and organized on pallets to protect them from damage, make loads easy to verify, and support safe unloading by delivery drivers. The position also involves restocking and repacking product while maintaining date-code accuracy and proper rotation, and staging completed pallets in designated areas. The Voice Pick Builder must follow good manufacturing practices and safety standards and may perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of general work experience.
• Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, and position products weighing up to 50 pounds above shoulder height without assistance.
• Ability to kneel, squat, and reach above the head consistently.
• Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment containing product loads, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, for at least 100 yards without assistance.
• Ability to repeatedly grasp and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to read information in small, medium, and large print.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Prior warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders using a voice-pick headset and build them for delivery-truck loading.
• Build orders with 99.8% accuracy and according to the assigned load.
• Use industrial power equipment to build orders.
• Manually lift and move products to restock and repack, ensuring date-code accuracy and proper rotation.
• Organize products to protect them from damage, make them easy to identify and verify, and support safe unloading by delivery drivers.
• Meet productivity requirements.
• Stage completed pallets in the designated area.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards.
