About The Position
Responsible for the planning and implementation of youth music lessons. This is a part-time position.
Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years knowledge and experience with instrument teaching methods.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- CPR/AED certified or obtain within one (1) year of employment.
- Be a 'Mandated Reporter' for the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act.
Responsibilities
- Research, plan, and implement music lessons.
- Actively participate by demonstrating specific class instrument.
- Responsible for taking attendance and managing classroom behavior.
- Must interact and communicate with participants and parents.
- Responsible for communication and scheduling of makeup lessons.
- Provide a high quality of customer service in a professional manner to the internal customer that will facilitate team building and exceptional customer service to the external customer.
- Follow the Wheaton Park District policies, procedures, and guidelines.
