Voice and Piano Teacher - Northwest Austin, TX
About The Position
We are seeking fun, experienced, and professional voice and piano instructors to teach part-time at our Northwest Austin location: The Musician's Woodshed- North Parmer. This teacher will be instructing IN PERSON at our school. Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check. Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $28-$32/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job. Health benefit options are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble.
Requirements
- Strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance or equivalent performing experience
- Demonstrated love of teaching

Responsibilities
- Design customized lesson plans for each and every student on their schedule.
- Focus on the student’s music tastes, skill set, and personal goals to optimize a music-learning experience.
- Offer an exciting, engaging and encouraging environment for students to pick up an instrument.
