Voice/Piano/Guitar Teacher - Orange County, CA
About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional Voice/Piano/Guitar teacher to teach part-time for their Lake Forest, CA school, Glee Music Academy. The position is for in-person instruction at the studio. The ability to teach additional instruments like bass guitar and ukulele is a plus. The teacher will take over students from a departing teacher, with lessons scheduled within operating hours of Monday-Friday 1-8pm and Saturdays 9am-2pm. Teachers can set their availability within these hours, but consistency is appreciated, and candidates with greater availability will be given preference. Ideal voice candidates will have experience working with students through voice changes and maturity. Experience with students with mental and intellectual disabilities, including those who are homebound and taught virtually or in-home, is preferred. Successful candidates will have a strong music background (degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience), a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check.
