The primary responsibilities include the preparation of daily living/work activities and other duties providing for a smooth work training environment for developmentally disabled adults. This role involves maintaining documentation according to program requirements, ensuring proper training and certifications, and serving as a positive role model. The instructor will provide daily supervision, training, instruction, and assistance to consumers with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living skills, pre-vocational skills, and work training. Responsibilities also include inspecting and maintaining equipment and supplies, estimating time and materials for work areas, transporting consumers to and from the center and planned activities, and performing routine paperwork and documentation.
