About The Position

ProBerco is recruiting for a Vocational Services Supervisor to join their team. This role is responsible for the daily operation of the vocational program, overseeing site management, safety regulations, motor vehicles, materials handling, and the smooth flow of work. The position also involves supervision of personnel, including conducting annual performance appraisals. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college; or an Associate’s Degree and two years’ work experience in industrial work; or a high school diploma and four years’ experience in industrial work, which includes at least two years supervisory experience.
  • Familiarization with methods and materials for education, training and production management of persons with development disabilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Personnel management, orientation, supervision, scheduling, and evaluation of staff.
  • Site management including ordering of supplies, machine repair, warehouse organization.
  • Maintain fire and physical safety regulations.
  • Development and implementation of designated production and/or program and/or community activities.
  • Provide supervision and assistance to Program Participants during work hours, before and after program hours.
  • Maintenance of program motor vehicles.
  • Assist staff with materials handling, bringing work in/out/wrapping skids, operating the tow motor.
  • Accurate and timely completion of required or requested paperwork.
  • Help ensure the smooth flow of work, including quality control, and meeting quota deadlines.
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures.
  • Attend meetings and trainings as required.
  • Implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Regular attendance at work.
  • Other duties as assigned.
