About The Position

The Vocational Readiness Coordinator leads and advances our vocational development programming, helping youth explore career pathways, build job‑ready skills, and engage in meaningful vocational experiences. This role includes oversight of virtual and experiential vocational training, coordination of community practicums, partnership development, and collaboration with clinical and milieu teams to integrate vocational growth into the overall treatment experience. This position is well suited for a leader who is passionate about workforce readiness, community partnerships, and helping youth connect effort today to purpose and opportunity tomorrow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Positive attitude toward problem-solving.
  • Current Indiana Driver's License

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in mental health or related field
  • Two (2) years of social service experience in a volunteer or paid role

Responsibilities

  • Leads and advances vocational development programming.

  • Collaborates as part of a multidisciplinary care team member.
  • May assist with gathering data for comprehensive psychosocial assessments.
  • Able to deescalate clients displaying aggressive behaviors.
  • Documents services provided in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) based on policies and procedures.
  • When necessary, will transport clients in personal vehicles.
  • Complies with all applicable Behavioral Health Care Service policies and procedures.
  • Actively involved in professional development and education, including mandatory training.
  • Completes time cards, PTO requests, mileage reports, and other documentation per Community Behavioral Health policies and procedures.
