Vocational Lead Direct Support Professional- Lincoln

Hands of Heartland is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to join our team and provide support to the individuals we support as a Vocational Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP)/ Caregiver in Lincoln, NE. This role involves working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities in vocational day centers, the community, and other settings to ensure they have a meaningful life. You will support DSPs and work alongside them as they assist individuals with daily living activities and skill development in vocational and community settings.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Must be able to pass all background checks.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexible and willing to adapt to change.
- Know the value of communication.
- Desire to support people and encourage them to reach goals.
- Understand the importance of documentation.

Responsibilities
- Work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities at the vocational day center, community, and other various settings to ensure they have a meaningful life.
