Requirements

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a community-based setting.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with current insurance.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the service area.
  • Ability to successfully complete required background screenings.
  • Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized career counseling, planning, and employment support.
  • Help individuals identify their strengths, interests, skills, and career goals.
  • Assist with resumes, applications, interviews, job readiness, and workplace skills.
  • Develop employment opportunities through job development and employer outreach.
  • Provide job coaching, onboarding support, and follow-up to promote job retention.
  • Build strong relationships with employers, families, referral partners, and community organizations.
  • Maintain accurate case notes, service records, and documentation.
  • Manage an assigned caseload while meeting service and documentation deadlines.
  • Work independently throughout the surrounding communities.
