About The Position

Booz Allen is seeking a VMware Engineer to manage and maintain IT infrastructure, with a focus on performance and security. The role includes designing virtual machines and evaluating and modernizing infrastructure in support of Booz Allen. The engineer will apply system administration and security best practices to help create a scalable, secure remote-access system and translate customer requirements into engineering solutions.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience with VMware, vSphere 7 or 8, Active Directory Domain Services, and Group Policy.
At least 5 years of server management experience.
At least 5 years of experience managing Windows, including server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
At least 3 years of experience designing server rooms, including servers, networking, and storage.
Experience with networking troubleshooting.
High school diploma or GED.
Secret clearance is required.

Nice To Haves

Experience troubleshooting web application support and authoring and maintaining technical documentation.
Experience with shell scripting or PowerShell and automation tools.
Ability to conduct independent research and apply solutions.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
