Perrygo is a small, rapidly growing company seeking a motivated and energetic VMware Administrator for a mid to senior level position. This role supports a Navy customer in Lexington Park, MD, on an active, funded contract. The company is passionate about its employees and supporting its customers' missions.

Requirements

Mid-level: 3 or more years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description and a BA/BS degree in a relevant subject or discipline.
Senior-level: At least 10 years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description and a MA/MS degree in a relevant subject or discipline.
VMware Administration
Windows Administration
ACAS
Bachelors or Masters degree dependent upon level.
Associate’s Degree plus 2 years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
High school diploma or GED and/or a relevant technical certification plus 4 years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years additional work experience may be substituted for a Master’s Degree.
VMware Certification
Sec+ (8570)
Top Secret Security Clearance (must be a US Citizen)

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers.
Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems.
Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups.
Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access.
Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses.
May assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
Configuring and Maintaining VMware environment.
Configuring and Maintaining Network Storage.
Configuring and Maintaining Windows Servers.
Troubleshoot tier 2-3 tickets for customers.
