About The Position

The Visual Merchandising Specialist performs installations for remodels, vendor-supported activities, decommissions, disaster recovery, and other company initiatives. The role involves dayside and overnight shifts, reviewing work completed by authorized third-party contractors, and providing functionality support. The specialist sets planograms and graphics, implements new technology, and helps ensure stores are ready for business each day.

The role includes complex interactive display setup, AV support, signage implementation, product security device installation, and installation of built-in appliances in kitchen displays. The specialist also supports display functionality, helps train new team members, and maintains knowledge of vendor-provided displays. The position requires overnight and weekend availability and travel up to 75% of the year.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 3 months of demonstrated merchandising, technical, or functionality support skills.
• Able to safely use small hand tools, light-duty power tools, and other in-house equipment.
• Able to work overnight and weekend shifts.
• Able to travel up to 75% of the year.
• Able to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Must be eligible to qualify for and maintain a corporate credit card to book travel and submit business expenses for reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Complete company-sponsored merchandising tasks, including complex interactive display setup, AV support, signage implementation, and installation of product security devices.
• Install complex built-in appliances in kitchen displays.
• Complete project merchandising and store display functionality support within given timelines.
• Help train new team members through job shadowing and sharing best practices.
• Implement new interactive displays and technologies.
• Perform basic and intermediate functionality support on store interactive displays.
• Maintain knowledge of vendor-provided displays.
• Review work completed by authorized third-party contractors and provide functionality support.
