About The Position

The Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for changing or rotating displays and signage to reflect inventory or promotion changes. This role involves developing ideas for merchandise displays and window decorations, arranging various elements like furniture and merchandise, and providing direction to materials handlers. The position also requires assisting in the arrangement of product bays to best promote items, with a specific focus on promotional products. Any other duties as directed by management may also be assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 20 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to work at heights and operate a scissor lift.
• Positive attitude when working with customers.
• Knowledge of employment, safety, and merchandise handling procedures.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years.
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
• Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 15 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects.

• Experience and/or education in interior design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Change or rotate displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion as directed by merchandisers, managers, or upper management.
• Develop ideas or plans for merchandise displays or window decorations.
• Arrange properties, furniture, merchandise, backdrops, and other accessories.
• Provide direction to Visual Merch Materials Handlers on which product will go in each specific bay.
• Assist with arranging each bay to promote all products in the best way possible, specifically focusing on promotional items.
• Perform any other duties as directed by management.
