About The Position

This position is responsible for changing or rotating displays and signage to reflect inventory or promotional changes. The Visual Merch Tier I will develop ideas for merchandise displays and window decorations, arrange various elements for displays, and provide direction to Materials Handlers regarding product placement. The role also involves assisting with arranging bays to best promote all products, with a specific focus on promotional items. Any other duties as directed by management are also part of the role.

Requirements

Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 20 lbs.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Ability to work at heights and operate a scissor lift.
Positive attitude when working with customers.
Knowledge of employment, safety, and merchandise handling procedures.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid Driver’s license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years.
Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 15 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects.

Experience and/or education in interior design preferred.

Responsibilities

Change or rotate displays and signage to reflect changes in inventory or promotion as directed by merchandisers, managers, or upper management.
Develop ideas or plans for merchandise displays or window decorations.
Arrange properties, furniture, merchandise, backdrops, and other accessories.
Provide direction to Visual Merch Materials Handlers on which product will go in each specific bay.
Assist with arranging each bay to promote all products in the best way possible, specifically focusing on promotional items.
Perform any other duties as directed by management.
