About The Position
The Hollywood Reporter is currently looking for an Associate Visual Producer. This is a hybrid role acting as a primary bridge between creative vision and logistical execution. Reporting to the Photo team with a dotted line to the Video/Social team, you will provide end-to-end production support for high-profile shoots, red-carpet events, and brand activations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and possesses a deep passion for film, television, and social media.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in a production or entertainment environment (video or photo preferred).
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and administrative tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with high-level talent, agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- A demonstrated interest in film, television, visual storytelling, and current social media trends.
- Proficiency in production
Responsibilities
- Lead the booking and coordination of talent, crew, and external vendors for editorial and marketing shoots.
- Create and distribute detailed call sheets, manage on-set requirements, and ensure all contributors adhere to production schedules.
- Manage the full lifecycle of production paperwork, including collecting contributor agreements and overseeing the submission and tracking of invoices.
- Maintain and expand comprehensive databases of crew, stylists, photographers, and vendors.
- Interact with and guide talent as needed, maintaining THR’s professionalism.
