About The Position

The Visual Lead is responsible for achieving store sales and maximizing profitability through visual merchandising in partnership with the Management Team. Working closely with Operations and Visual Managers, the Visual Lead initiates and delegates work and provides feedback to support optimal results and total store operations. The position involves constant movement throughout the store, including the sales floor and back of house. When not assisting guests, the Visual Lead takes initiative to complete tasks that help keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and efficient.

The role combines visual leadership, business leadership, people leadership, and flow experience leadership. It includes executing operational functions and visual direction, using reporting and business metrics to identify opportunities, supporting team development, coordinating cross-functional execution, and opening and closing the store in accordance with visual standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
• Proven leadership capabilities and excellent decision-making.

• Full-time employees are expected to be available for opening, closing, and weekend shifts; schedules may change.
• Employees are expected to be able to work from the week of and including Black Friday until the end of the holiday season, the first week of January.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of operational functions, including shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
• Maintain strategic product presentation and merchandising through product recovery, restocking, destocking, and visual merchandising changes in accordance with directives and in partnership with the Visual Manager.
• Plan visual floor changes with the management team, managing payroll and adapting zones and visual support to business needs.
• Execute and maintain visual direction from planning through completion, meeting company expectations, budgets, and timelines.
• Use reporting tools with management to identify opportunities involving product placement, outfitting, and stock levels, and make changes as needed.
• Partner with Operations and Visual Managers to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.
• Use business metrics to support strategies that drive business results.
• Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.
• Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations, guest experience, and visual standards.
• Partner with management to coach, guide, and direct Associates; support recruitment and talent development.
• Use company performance tools to evaluate Associates and provide ongoing feedback to support individual growth and improvement in partnership with the store leader.
• Collaborate with the Operations Lead on cross-functional training and with the Sales & Service Lead to ensure effective business execution.
• Execute company-level operations-focused directives, projects, and initiatives with the leadership team to achieve goals and KPIs.
• Open and close the store in accordance with visual standards.
