About The Position

Brighton Jones is seeking a talented Visual Designer to elevate its creative output across digital, print, presentations, campaigns, and client-facing experiences. This role is crucial in shaping and evolving the Brighton Jones brand through compelling visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will possess strong design fundamentals, a digital-first mindset, and the ability to translate ideas into engaging experiences across multiple channels. This role will collaborate closely with teams across Marketing, including Brand Strategy, Digital, Content, Community, and Experiences, to create impactful work that supports business growth and deepens engagement with clients, prospects, and teammates. This position is designed for a designer who excels beyond traditional production design and is comfortable creating across modern digital channels. Brighton Jones is entering a period of significant brand expression evolution, and this role is not about brand maintenance but about shaping what comes next.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, graphic design certificate, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of professional design experience.
  • Formal training in graphic, visual, or communication design, or equivalent demonstrated fundamentals.
  • A portfolio weighted toward digital design, showcasing visual thinking across screens and systems.
  • Demonstrated presentation craft: ability to take a rough outline and dense content and create a presentable output.
  • AI fluency: ability to discuss projects where AI tools impacted the process and where they were deliberately not used.
  • Ability to defend design recommendations, making the reasoning visible for non-designers.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), PowerPoint, Word.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude Design and ChatGPT.

  • Motion graphics and simple animation skills.
  • UX fundamentals.
  • Wireframing and user flow experience.
  • Usability and accessibility basics.
  • WordPress experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and evolve the brand system and craft, ensuring consistency across all expressions and contributing to brand standards.
  • Create digital and campaign designs, including landing pages, website modules, social campaigns, emails, infographics, and digital reports.
  • Develop presentation and narrative designs for executive communications, client presentations, conference materials, and webinar content.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Brand Strategy, and Content teams.
  • Shape the future expression of the Brighton Jones brand.
