About The Position

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Visual Communication Designer (Packaging) to support the development of packaging, point-of-purchase displays, and printed collateral for our growing portfolio of kitchen appliances. This role is heavily focused on translating product positioning and brand standards into visually compelling packaging and retail-facing materials that enhance the customer experience and strengthen brand presence on shelf and online. The ideal candidate combines strong graphic design fundamentals with technical production expertise and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This person will own projects from concept through final production, ensuring all assets are visually impactful, accurate, and printer-ready while maintaining consistency across our brands. Candidates must be based in the US. Proximity to our office in Northern NJ is preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in packaging design, visual communication, or production design, preferably within consumer products or CPG
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in packaging design, typography, layout, branding, and production execution
  • Proven experience working with complex dielines and preparing printer-ready artwork
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of print production processes, color management, and packaging specifications
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Collaborative and communicative team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce packaging artwork, product cartons, inserts, manuals, cookbooks, and other printed collateral in alignment with established brand guidelines
  • Create visually compelling layouts, typography systems, and graphic treatments for packaging and retail marketing materials
  • Prepare and manage production-ready files, including working within complex dielines and print specifications
  • Execute packaging revisions, regulatory updates, and product line extensions as needed
  • Design POP, PDQ, and retail display assets to support in-store merchandising initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, marketing, ecommerce, and compliance teams to ensure accuracy and consistency across deliverables
  • Maintain strong attention to detail throughout all stages of design and production
  • Support additional creative and production design projects as needed
