About The Position

We seek a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of layout and typography, as well as user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles and will be responsible for designing user-friendly, visually appealing digital experiences that align with the Amalgamated Bank brand. The ideal candidate is motivated to elevate creative work, values modern, clean design, collaborates well across teams, and can clearly and concisely present ideas.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in web design, graphic design
2-4 years proven work experience as a digital designer
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, working well in both a team environment and independently.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud design applications (with emphasis on Final Cut Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premier, Express)

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of HTML or CSS preferred

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and user needs
Work from agreed upon creative briefs with other colleagues
Design and develop templates, conceptual mockups and website layouts
Create engaging digital graphics, animations, and video content optimized for social media platforms, ensuring strong visual storytelling and alignment with brand standards.
Design visually engaging, responsive email templates and campaigns that align with brand standards and optimize user experience across devices.
