About The Position

The Visual Associate supports the management team in achieving goals by providing world-class service and serving as a role model for building customer relationships. The role maintains a presence through store supervision to ensure appropriate staff coverage, performs operational functions to meet Company guidelines, implements visual changes, and maintains store standards. The associate creates engaging customer experiences by sharing expertise in styling, decorating, and entertaining; interprets and executes visual inspiration to drive sales and express the brand’s creative spirit; and ensures merchandising and displays are visually compelling. The role replenishes the sales floor, executes floorsets within required timeframes, coaches associates on visual standards, and helps make the store an inspirational neighborhood destination. The associate collaborates with the sales team and fosters a fair, respectful, people-first environment. The role requires mobility on the sales floor for extended periods and the ability to lift and mobilize items up to 75 pounds using appropriate equipment and safety techniques. Part-time flex associates must be available for at least two regularly scheduled shifts on separate weekend days and two shifts during the week. Additional availability may be required to be scheduled for 20 or more hours weekly.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in a merchandising or visual role.
Effective communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples.
Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 75 lbs. using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
Part-time flex associates must be available for at least two regularly scheduled shifts on separate weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and two shifts during the week (Monday through Thursday).
Greater availability may be required for associates scheduled 20 or more hours per week.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of experience in home-related design or visual merchandising.
Specialty retail experience.
College degree or equivalent job experience.

Foster an environment where associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect.
Collaborate with the sales team and value others’ talents and contributions.
Demonstrate the stated brand competencies, including customer focus, effective communication, influential leadership, innovation, accountability, operational excellence, and execution.
