About The Position

The Visual Assistant supports the store’s Visual Merchandiser with product imagery and presentation, following the Visual Merchandiser’s direction. The role helps ensure the store consistently meets brand standards and works with the Visual Merchandiser and store managers to support business goals through visual merchandising. The Visual Assistant also helps educate the team on product knowledge and the brand’s visual standards.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience in a visual merchandising role.
At least 6 months of retail or apparel experience.
At least 6 months of customer-facing experience.
Open and flexible availability, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Availability to consistently work weekends and support special projects, drops, releases, or other business needs.
Ability to multitask and efficiently manage multiple projects at once.
Thorough communication skills and ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities properly.
Ability to lift and move 25 pounds.
Ability to perform retail tasks that may involve bending, twisting, and climbing ladders or step stools.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Keen attention to detail.
Ability to learn and adjust quickly.
Openness to feedback.
Creativity, reliability, and a goal-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

Maximize store space and layout based on SKU management.
Conceptualize new visual ideas.
Assist the Visual Merchandiser with daily and weekly floor moves.
Assist with window merchandising, installations, and releases.
Prepare new and replenishment product arrivals, as well as upcoming releases.
Work with the Visual Merchandiser and Store Management to ensure displays are sale-floor-ready and positioned properly on hangers.
Communicate visual needs and opportunities to the Visual Merchandiser and Store Management.
Assist with weekly floor moves as directed by the Visual Merchandiser.
Support store housekeeping, including dusting, sweeping, trash collection, and other standard retail tasks.
Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and other inventory management tasks as required.
Travel to support other stores as required by the business.
