In this customer-focused role, you'll be the welcoming face of the city, assisting visitors with directions, recommendations, and resources to help them make the most of their time in our vibrant waterfront community. The class works under close supervision according to set procedures.

Requirements

High school graduation or successful completion of GED.
One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience in clerical and data entry work including the performance of basic computer operations using Microsoft Office and conducting internet searches or a closely related experience.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record based on the City of Hampton’s criteria.
Must successfully pass a background check prior to any offer of employment or promotion.
