About The Position
Philip will continue his project to improve AI method for predicting hydrologic system as well as flood forecasting. The activities include develop training datasets for a testing region in Midwest, train the AI model (parameters selection and adjustment), and model validation. The results will be reported in a manuscript for publication. Phillip has completed initial planning and part of the work. The visiting student position can support him to continue and complete the rest of work. Education and Experience Requirements The entirety of the appointment must be conducted within the United States. Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins. Applicants must be: ‒Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution ‒Graduated from an accredited institution within the past 3 months; or ‒Actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution
