About The Position

Nanqi is a first-year Ph.D. student of Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering at University of Chicago. His research will focus on printable batteries using bio-derived nanomaterial inks as part of an NSF-funded future manufacturing project. He will perform lab experiments on bio-ink formulation, characterization of the ink and bio-derived nanomaterials, printable batteries, and characterization & understanding of these batteries, interfaces, and chemistries.

Requirements

  • The entirety of the appointment must be conducted within the United States.
  • Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
  • Applicants must be: Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution. Graduated from an accredited institution within the past 3 months; or Actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
  • Wet-lab experience
  • metal-ion battery knowledge
  • nanomaterials
