Visiting Student Subcontract - XSD - Wu, Zhenquan - 10.23.26

Argonne National Laboratory•Lemont, IL

About The Position

Zhenquan Wu will serve as a Visiting Student Researcher from Northwestern University on the CMOS+X project. The work investigates voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) and phase-locked loop (PLL) circuits in GlobalFoundries 22FDX technology using the cryogenic process design kit (cryoPDK). It explores integrating on-chip superinductors to enable superconductor-enhanced cryoCMOS circuits, with emphasis on circuit design, simulation, performance analysis, and documentation of frequency, phase-noise, power, and cryogenic-operation tradeoffs. The entirety of the appointment must be conducted within the United States. Applicants must be at least 18 years old when the appointment begins and must be currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution, have graduated from an accredited institution within the past three months, or be actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution.
