Chamberlain University is seeking industry professionals to share their knowledge and experience with undergraduate BSN nursing students on-site in Jacksonville, FL. This position involves teaching Fundamentals of Microbiology with Lab (BIOS-242), covering basic concepts of microbiology, medically important microorganisms, infectious diseases, microscopy, microbial growth and genetics, antimicrobial agents, epidemiology, and immune system responses. Lab exercises will focus on aseptic techniques, isolation and culture of microorganisms, microscopy, and staining techniques. Courses meet on campus twice a week for eight-week sessions, blended with technology for an enhanced learning environment. Commitment is on a course-by-course basis. Daytime and evening opportunities are available, with classes held Monday-Friday, consisting of a 3-hour lecture and a 3-hour lab.
