The School of Public Administration at the University of New Mexico invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track Open Rank Visiting Lecturer in Health Administration beginning August 2026. This is a one-year temporary appointment. Applicants must hold a master’s degree or doctoral degree (PhD, DHA, or related doctorate) in Health Administration, Public Health, Public Administration, or a related field by date of appointment. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. The faculty member will be expected to teach graduate-level courses in Health Administration, including core and elective offerings within the Master of Health Administration curriculum. Potential teaching areas include health information technology, data analytics, healthcare quality, healthcare ethics, leadership and management, and related areas within health administration and health services. This is a teaching-focused appointment that includes student advising and participation in service and programmatic activities. Teaching assignments may involve multiple course preparations and varied instructional modalities.
