About The Position

This is a 9-month, non-tenure earning, Visiting Laboratory Lecturer of Chemistry position in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Responsibilities include a 5/5 teaching load, or its equivalent, and service to the department, college, and university.

Requirements

  • Earned a master's degree from an accredited institution in the field of instruction or a closely related discipline by the employment start date.
  • Submit an online application that includes all required application documents.
  • Provide current curriculum vitae.
  • Provide cover letter.
  • Provide name, phone number, and email address of three professional references.
  • Submit official transcripts (and, as applicable, U.S. degree equivalency evaluations) documenting the conferral of their qualifying academic credentials by the date of hire.
  • Upload additional documents based on their responses to the Foreign Influence Review questions.
  • Provide Passport (all pages including blank pages).
  • Provide Form DS-160 (if ever submitted. If not, upload an explanation).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous, documented experience in teaching undergraduate chemistry laboratory courses.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $53,000.00 to Negotiable Annual
