About The Position

The Chemical, Paper, and Biomedical Engineering department seeks visiting faculty to teach courses during the Spring Semester. Visiting faculty teach Engineering Economics (3 credit hours) as needed on a per-course basis during the Spring 2027 Semester. Courses may be taught face to face, online, or hybrid depending on need. The ability to teach online is limited to specific states. Course assignments are made on a semester basis. The appointment begins in January 2027.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.

Nice To Haves

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Applicable work experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach Engineering Economics, a 3-credit-hour course, as needed during the Spring 2027 Semester.
• Teach courses face to face, online, or hybrid depending on departmental need.
