About The Position

As a visiting fellow, you will have an opportunity to participate in exciting research conducted in Dr. Wainford’s lab. You will have the opportunity to contribute to research endeavors, including data maintenance, analysis, and compilation, as well as project participation. As a Visiting Fellow, you will collaborate with research faculty, staff, and students. The research project will expose you to various techniques, skills, resources, and mentorship with Dr. Richard Wainford. The Wainford lab is conducting cutting-edge research into blood pressure regulation, focusing on the effects of dietary salt intake and age. Our translational research utilizes animal models of hypertension and human samples/tissues. We address our research hypotheses using integrated whole animal, genetic, molecular biology, histological, and behavioral technique. NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.

Requirements
